Dr Tara Rawat (MBBS) was born in India, speaks both English and Hindi fluently and can also understand Urdu and Punjabi. Dr Rawat has an interest in specialties such as Respiratory Medicine, Metal Health, Allergies and Chronic Disease Management. In 2007, Dr Rawat achieved her Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine in India and then after moving to Australia in 2014, Dr Rawat went on to work in hospitals in Emergency and Psychiatry Departments.
Dr Rawat became a doctor because she recognised that this is a profession where inner satisfaction can be achieved by helping people. Some of Dr Rawat’s most challenging experiences include working in Intensive Care, Organ Transplant Teams and looking after patients who were suffering from severe sepsis, viral illnesses and under advanced life support.
Dr Rawat chooses to work at Reliance because we have such a friendly supportive team, quality care and an approachable practice for the people of the Central Coast. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, travelling and cooking.
